Loch FadaThis charming lake is a hidden gem with the magnificent backdrop of the Caha Mountains in the background. To get there you need to make your way to the Kilcatherine Peninsula, the road to it starting half-way between Eyeries and Ardgroom, After passing Ballycrovane Harbour take the turn off on the 2nd hairpin bend and follow the side road to its end, The Beara Way walking route runs along side it. The nearest place to stay is 'Lya’s Holiday Home' which is on the side road to the lake |
